How it works
Three steps to a clean close.
Onboarding takes two to four weeks for most businesses, longer if there's catch-up work. Here's the whole thing, start to finish.
Consultation
A 30-minute call about your business, your current books, and what's actually going wrong. No charge, no obligation.
Diagnostic & proposal
We review your ledger and systems, flag what needs cleanup, and send a fixed monthly scope and fee — no hourly surprises.
Transition & close
We migrate access, document the procedures, and run your first close on our calendar. You get statements and a review call every month.
Once you're running
What a month looks like
Transactions are coded continuously through the month, so nothing piles up. The close itself runs on a fixed calendar and ends with a conversation, not just a PDF in your inbox.
Dates shift by a day or two around weekends and bank holidays — you get the calendar in writing when you onboard.
Common questions
Before you call
How far behind can we be?
Years, if that's where you are. Catch-up work is quoted separately as a project, and we'll tell you honestly what it will take before you commit.
Do we have to change software?
No. We work in QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite, and we'll stay in whatever you're using unless it's genuinely holding you back — in which case we'll say so and quote the migration.
Who actually does the work?
A named lead on our team, with review above them. You'll know who they are and how to reach them from day one.
How are fees set?
A fixed monthly fee based on transaction volume, number of accounts, and the scope you choose. Projects are quoted as projects. You'll never get a surprise invoice for a phone call.
What do you need from us to start?
Read access to your accounting software and bank feeds, your most recent statements, and one person on your side who can answer questions. That's the bulk of it.
Ready to hand off the ledger?
A 30-minute consultation, no charge — we'll tell you what we see in your books and what it would take to run them.
